NOTICE: We are no longer coordinating efforts for Hurricane Harvey relief, as of Nov 1. Thank you, generous community, for supporting the relief efforts in Houston. And now we ask for your support as we remember the everyday disaster of local hunger for children and families.
The High Plains Food Bank will be coordinating food and funds to benefit those who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. 100% of the food and funds raised will directly benefit the Houston Food Bank in their recovery efforts.
Please note very specific warehouse drop-off hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 11:00am or Mon-Fri from 1:30 - 3:00pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am - 11:30am.
In order to better coordinate our disaster relief efforts, the High Plains Food Bank requests that you register your food/fund drive by completing the form below. Due to the shortage of resources and staff, the food bank kindly asks organizers to package the food in sacks, box, etc and deliver to our facilities at 815 Ross Street in Amarillo. If we identify drop-off locations, we will list them here.
Large donation loads (pick up truck and delivery truck loads), please deliver to 815 Ross Street, HPFB Warehouse, between 8:00am - 11:30am OR 1:15pm - 3:00pm, to help unload at the dock.
